International Women’s Day 2018 was celebrated with much fun and fervour at Roop Sangam. Well-acceptance & well-participation by all our woman patrons made it an instant success. Paithani saree clad women gracing the occasion was a sight to see. Roop Sangam’s flagship three storey showroom at Dadar witnessed a merriment of sorts which ran four-day long.

Our successful ode to Womanhood,on Women’s Day

International Women’s Day 2018 was celebrated with much fun and fervour at Roop Sangam. Well-acceptance & well-participation by all our woman patrons made it an instant success. Paithani saree clad women gracing the occasion was a sight to see. Roop Sangam’s flagship three storey showroom at Dadar witnessed a merriment of sorts which ran four-day long.

Lo and behold, over 2000 plus women participated with contagious enthusiasm and excitement. What made it truly special was celebrating it in a traditional yet stellar way!

Let’s reminisce the fun here.

Ladies were welcomed by smearing auspicious Hadli- Kumkum on their foreheads. They were presentedGajra to adorn their hairstyle. They were offered delicious Mithai as it is said in our tradition, sweet eats make things sweeter. Post greeting our fabulous ladies in a traditional Indian style they were guided inside the showroom. Various engaging activities were in-store for them like Bangle making, Mehndi, Jyotish astrologer and many more.

Ladies dressed in beautiful attire and decked up to look their best would surely want to keep memories forever with them. Photobooth stall was installed with Roop Sangam backdrop and ladies were welcomed to click snaps. A renowned photographer was appointed to click their photos. Several graceful smiles prettifying those candid clicks were taken. As we knew our Paithani beauties would not only want to proudly share photos on social media. But also keep it with them as memento, hence instant photos were also gifted.

That’s not all, our nine Paithani beauties were honoured with prizes. Names of the winner were decided on the basis of– attire, jewellery, make up and graceful draping and carrying of saree.

Prizes were conferred on following categories:

Three prizes were declared for senior citizens (ladies above 65 years)

Three prizes for young- mid aged(ladies below 65 years)

Three prizes for little girls (below 18 years), who graced our occasion in traditional attire
